About the Captain & Vessel
Capt Matt Anderson is our "Northern" implant, hence the name Southern Run on his rig. He is young, friendly, ambitious, hard-charging, and not high strung! Besides being an awesome fisherman, he is the best fish cleaner around. Matt loves to cobia fish from Hatteras to the Chesapeke Bay. He is very moblie with the 23' javelin Southern Run, with gps, 175 Evinrude, vhf, first aid, life jackets, tower for sightcasting, licenses, bait, tackle, & ice. He can take kids fishing for flounder, croaker, or stripers. Matt can also get you hooked up on bigger fish such as shark, cobia, and amberjack. Also he loves doing evening trips for the night bite of big stripers on eels. Give us a call if you wanna do a Southern Run!
On Interstate 64, go over the bridge and the Washington Baum Bridge Boat Ramp is located on the west side, directly across from Pirates Cove Marina. At the stoplight make a left and follow the road under the bridge.
