Carolina Blue

Welcome aboard the Carolina Blue.  Captain Ches is a Kitty Hawk native.  He grew up and hunted and fished these waters his whole life.  His productive laid back style results in an awesome outdoors expierence.  When fishing aboard the Carolina blue with no boundries fishing.  Flexible and capable to take you fishing from speckled trout on marsh points to catching a few blue crabs to flipping live baits to dolphin on grasslines.  Wrecks for triggers, cobia, sheephead are always a fun way to spend a summer day.  Fishing the lightlines at night for trophy stripers in winter is a must. 

Captain Ches also carries duck hunting trips from blinds in Currituck Sound and Kitty Hawk Bay.  Another cool trip on blast and cast is also another nice option to have as well!  Marsh duck, puddlers and divers, swan hunts with N.C swan permits.

Carolina Blue

The Carolina Blue is a 26 foot Carolina styled center console fishing boat.  She is open spacious and dry.  We have glassed juniper spray rails to keep the water in the water.  Hardtop with curtains,  tower with controls and enough room for two to sightcast for cobia and drum.  Two insulated fish boxes, tons of storage, 40 gallon lighted livewell.  GPS, bottommachine raymarine, vhf.  22 inch vertcal jack plate with tunnel hull for shallow water fishing in a big boat.  225 horsepower mercury optimax.

Crabbie Patty:  A great family trip, father son, grandfather grandson, you get the idea.

This one instantly been a winner.  Calm water very interactive to keep the youngsters attenion with a variety of activities.  Shake and rebait crabpots with blue crabs that you can keep.  Pull a small shrimp net to see all the small marine life from shrimp to little lookdowns.  Take the last hours for some light fishing for spot, croaker, trout, flounder, and striper. 4-4.5 hours

Dawn or Dusk:

Trip that we are doing because we are going fishing for ourselves anyways.  Experienced anglers.  First couple of hours or last light  always seem to be the best action for speckled trout , redfish, and stripers.  Fish a few marsh points with light spinning tackle with jigs.  Some times we can get the bite on topwater.  This is a good time for the avid flyrodder.   Shorter trip and less that a half day. 2 hours

Traditional half day:

Open ended trip that can go all kinds of ways from livebaiting stripers to fishing for all the best spots for trout, flounder, and drum.  Longer trip to fish in evenings and mornings as well  4-4.5

3/4 day: six hours

All day:

8 hours of rodbending fun.  Longer trip farther we can go and more options you have.  Cobia, reddrum, sharks, etc.
